12 Horror Movie Idiots Who Caused Their Own Doom

I Know What You Did Last Summer is the story of Julie, Ray, Barry and Helen, a group of teenagers who accidentally run a man over when coming back from a beach party one night and end up killing him. A year later, they receive a note from someone saying 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and begin being hunted down by their mysterious stalker.

Helen is the second of the group to be taken out by the killer, but her death remains one of the most infamously stupid in all of horror history.

Having survived a chase sequence that involved escaping from crashed police cars, parked elevators and jumping out of the second floor of a building, Helen finds herself in a small alley with a band's procession and the town's fourth of July fireworks display just a couple of feet away. Helen naturally begins motoring along to the safety of the town, but suddenly seems to remember that she isn't the film's final girl and stops all of a sudden.

Deciding to inexplicably turn around, she's caught by the killer, thrown into some tires and stabbed repeatedly.
