12 Marvel Mistakes Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Must Avoid

7. Underwhelming Stan Lee Cameos

Stan Lee's cameos are a gleefully entertaining staple of the MCU, and while it may be asking a bit much, wouldn't it be nice if they were a bit, well, better?

For every excellent Lee cameo (the security guard in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and getting "hammered" with Thor in Avengers: Age of Ultron), there are a bunch that come and go with such little fanfare you wonder why Lee even bothered (namely his totally forgettable one on a bus in Doctor Strange).

Now, there's definitely a line here: make the cameos too obvious and they distract from anything else happening in the scene, and Lee's age also prevents him from doing too much, but it'd be great if Marvel got a little more inventive and meaningful with his appearances.

After all, Lee is 93 years old and won't be around forever, so it'd be nice if his remaining movies continued to capture his witty essence. With James Gunn having filmed Lee's cameos for Doctor Strange, GOTG2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming in one day to relieve the stress on him, it's unlikely any of them are more than totally disposable, though.
