12 Most Likely Villains For The Next MCU Spider-Man Trilogy - Ranked
3. Kraven the Hunter
On the subject of Sony's villain-verse (which, with Morbius featuring both Venom and Vulture, currently plays by its own rules and will probably crossover whenever is creatively and narratively convenient), Kraven is coming. He's got a movie in the pipe from J. C. Chandor, starring Quicksilver himself, Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Kraven was yet another villain whose silhouette we saw at the end of No Way Home, as the cracks in the multiverse started to open. Kraven is probably the biggest Spider-Man villain to never get a live-action adaptation, which is a shame, because he's a fantastic character. After all, "Kraven's Last Hunt" is arguably the greatest Spider-Man story of all time.
In a recent interview with Collider, Tom Holland said that No Way Home was supposed to feature Kraven as the main villain, provided the multiverse stuff didn't work out. It clearly did, but he's keeping tight-lipped about the story just in case it happens later on down the road.
With Kraven's spear-carrying silhouette manifesting in the sky, it's a safe bet that he'll be crossing paths with his greatest prey at some point. With his solo movie set to release in January 2023, his hunt might begin sooner than we think.
