12 Movie Idiots Who Basically Created Their Own Villains

1. Tony Stark's Shallowness Turned Killian Into A Super-Villain - Iron Man 3

Prior to his epiphany and adoption of the Iron Man identity, Tony Stark was a well-publicised douche-bag, eating up the life of a playboy without ever wondering on the morality of where his money came from, and bed hopping with ludicrous frequency. To say he was shallow, conceited and based his relationships with people on an odd value system that preferred good looks to worthiness.

That much was proven, rather unfortunately, in his first encounter with Aldrich Killian, the formerly disabled dorky inventor of the Extremis technology who Tony basically shunned because he didn't fit the aesthetic bill, and offered Killian the reprehensible plan for how he would later model himself.

Had he been able to look past the greasy hair and the poor skin, Stark could have brought Extremis under Stark Industry's umbrella, and more importantly he wouldn't have sparked Killian's evolution into super-villain who almost killed him and his girlfriend.
