10. Daredevil Might Be In Infinity War... But It Won't Be Charlie Cox
Well, sh*t. Here's me thinking that recasting from hugely successful companion shows for their big-screen siblings was limited to DC and the wrong decision to recast the Flash. But no, it seems Marvel might be considering it for Daredevil, should he be added to Infinity War. You'd think Charlie Cox would know by now whether he (or the other Defenders) would be added to the ever-growing Phase 3 event movie, but he seems oddly concerned that he might end up being recast. While discussing the upcoming season of Daredevil, Cox spoke candidly about the possibility:
"Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even if the character were to appear in that film, that doesnt necessarily mean that I would appear in that film. I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose!"
Obviously that's not set in stone, but the fact that Cox doesn't know should set off all types of warning signs. The good news for Daredevil fans is that the showmakers have vowed that they will top season one's incredible hallway fight sequence. How they'll manage it is anyone's guess.
