9. The New Guardians Of The Galaxy Team Members?

The Guardians of the Galaxy team is expanding, according to Geek.com, who say that Star Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket and Groot will be joined by former bad girl Nebula, former anti-hero Yondu and newcomer Mantis. Mantis is obviously an entirely new prospect, bringing telepathy, martial arts skills and the ability to control plants (entirely useless unless they happen to be massive powerful warrior plants like Groot), but Yondu and Nebula are more difficult to peg. Why would Nebula suddenly give up on her commitment to Thanos? Has he cast her out and she's now attempting to rebuild her life (or pretend to be good to get back in his favour)? And why would Yondu give up his leadership of the cool space pirates to basically answer to the kid whose always been a thorn in his side? According to the same source, Ego the Living Planet will also be involved, which is really something.
