When the trailer for Marc Webb's Spidey sequel landed, there was the briefest of flashes of a list of files (like above only upside down and less clear), which inevitably prompted one intrepid Reddit user to zoom and clean up the image, revealing some Easter Egg goodies. Mentions of vampiric villain Mr Morbius, hints to Venom and other in-universe nods proved ample fan-bait for those who weren't already invested in the villain-heavy property, but it wasn't until the film hit blu-ray that the screens could really be blown up and explored. The list of files was also filled with references to Norman Osborn's development of the Green Goblin suit, his tracking of Kurt Connors' experiments and also Max Dillon's accident that turned him into Electro, but it is easily the Morbius and Venom mentions that were most enticing.
