1. George Clooney - Batman & Robin

By all accounts, Batman & Robin was something of a disaster for both Warner Bros and director Joel Schumacher. It might have made some money, but it wasn't the necessary financial winner the studio needed and it was critically mauled - and for good reason.

Unfortunately for George Clooney, it also threatened to derail his career on the big screen before it had even really started, so it's no surprise his account of what occurred isn't all that positive.

He's called the film “a waste of money” and claimed later that he thought they'd killed the franchise, and has since - fairly profusely - apologised for the entire thing, and specifically for the nipples and Mr Freeze. Neither of which he even had any control over. You can almsot taste the shame.
