3. Why Does Nobody Understand The Need To Balance The Force?
There are some fundamental pillars in Star Wars that are irrefutable truths - or are at least PRESENTED as such - and they don't get much more fundamental than the idea of there always being balance in the Force.
In various ways over several decades, the idea of doubles and balance has been explored and yet there's a pretty big question mark hanging over it all. Put simply, if balance is so important - and so inevitable - then why have the Jedi and Sith spent so long trying to irradicate one another to the supposed benefit of the victor?
Why, at the end of The Rise Of Skywalker, are we presented with the notion of Rey's victory when her destroying Palpatine and Kylo Ren dying makes the Force imbalanced again? Do none of these people who frequently espouse their over-arching rule never listen to their own lessons? And shouldn't Luke Skywalker's plan to balance the Force by ending the Jedi have been the real aim?
