12 Stupidest Decisions Made By Characters In X-Men Movies

10. Stryker Being Mean To Victor Creed - X-Men Origins: Wolverine

The old maxim about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer is apparently completely lost on Major William Stryker. The man behind the Team X initiative, Stryker sets out to create a supermutant murderer with a multitude of abilities, aka Weapon XI. His way of achieving that was by offering false promises to Victor Creed, the most ruthless savage from the original team. Creed duly slays a ton of mutants to acquire their DNA for Stryker€™s super mutant, because he is promised that he too would be €˜upgraded€™ like his half-brother, Logan. Needless to say, there€™s no honour among evil wrongdoers, and at the last minute Stryker reneges on the deal, telling Creed he wouldn€™t survive the procedure and is better off being one of his lackeys. And in that one moment, Stryker€™s loyal henchman and dependable weapon turns against him. So what was the point in him alienating Creed? At that very moment, Logan is dead set on murdering the Major as well, and with blood being thicker than water, it€™s no surprise that the siblings pair up to kill Stryker€™s latest incarnation; Deadpool. Which then leads to Stryker€™s ultimate defeat.
