12 Stupidest Decisions Made By Characters In X-Men Movies

9. Magneto Leaves The Bridge - The Last Stand

Magneto has it all, brains and brawn, and a perpetual anger fuelled by rage against the establishment. His physical strength combined with his mutant ability makes him a fearsome enemy. And yet somehow during one of the biggest showdowns of the series, he lets a tiny slip up turn into a potentially catastrophic error. In a cunning battlefield tactic, Magneto braces his power to move the Golden Gate Bridge onto Alcatraz, allowing his army of mutants to trot across and help wage war. In what could be attributed to a simple brain fart - he then leaves it there, for all of his enemies, any random humans to cross. And basically anyone who quite fancies an up close look at a massive insane fight. It reeks of poor planning: why would he want a fair playing field when he could just as easily return it to its original position to undermine his opponents? Better still, why not just throw it at his enemies and have done with it? When he€™d strived to wreak as much havoc as is mutantly possible, why would he ruin his chances at the last hurdle?
