12 Stupidest Decisions Made By Characters In X-Men Movies
8. Nightcrawler Is Too Much Of A Showman - X2
The opening sequence of X2 is oft-cited as one of the series best character introductions. The blue-skinned Nightcrawler penetrates the White House as an unwilling weapon of William Stryker. Brainwashed by a serum, he bounces around the Presidents quarters with the subtle prowess of a coked-out rabbit. The real question here is, why did he opt to parade the extent of his skills, as if his mission was only to flaunt his ability in the showiest way possible? Theres a world of difference between honing your craft and blazing away arrogantly. The point of his infiltration was to assassinate the President. Who cares if he doesnt get to teleport fifty times in less than a minute? His mission could have been a success had he busted in on the Pres with his trousers down, doing the crossword on the White House toilet, and left a calling card.
