12 Things Warner Bros Want You To Forget About Batman Movies

4. "Some Days You Just Can't Get Rid Of A Bomb!" (Batman: The Movie)

1966's Batman: The Movie features a classically cheeseball action sequence that has since been resurrected as a popular Internet meme. Batman (Adam West) finds himself saddled with a large bomb, which he attempts to dispose of in several areas, only to find himself foiled by explosive material, a group of nuns, a baby, and finally, a group of ducks in the nearby water. Cue Batman infamously quipping, "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb." Why Warner Want You To Forget Because in a sense it ruined the climax of The Dark Knight Rises for some, given how in that movie Bats also had to get rid of a bomb, and it didn't take long for snarky fanboys to start comparing the two to hilarious effect. It's obviously not in Warner's best interest for the derision to happen, especially considering that the Adam West Batman is owned by Fox, not Warner. Just to be sure, Zack Snyder might want to avoid any big set-pieces in Batman's future tenure that involve him running around with or otherwise handling explosive devices.
