If you haven't seen Licence to Kill in quite some time, you might be taken aback by just how many brilliant character actors show their faces for a few minutes.

For starters, there's Frank McRae, who memorably played the shouty police captain in 1982's 48 Hrs. - a role he hilariously parodied in Last Action Hero over a decade later - and appears here as Felix's pal Sharkey.

Then there's the inimitable Everett McGill, best known these days for playing Big Ed on Twin Peaks, but the year prior he showed up here as a corrupt DEA officer who helps spring Sanchez from custody.

If that's not enough, Licence to Kill is also the only Bond movie to star two actors from Paul W.S. Anderson's 1995 Mortal Kombat movie: Talisa Soto as Lupe, and the legendary Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Hong Kong narcotics agent Kwang.

Most of these roles are small, but they nevertheless make the movie a fun exercise in spotting those faces you definitely recognise.
