7. The Microsoft Product Placement Is Hilariously Weird
The Bond franchise is no stranger to excessive product placement tie-ins by this point, though the movie's producers really took things to a whole new level in this film.
When Bond and Christmas are attempting to defuse the pipeline bomb, the camera lingers on the bomb's readout, which amusingly enough is powered by Microsoft's Windows CE.
Considering it's not exactly a ringing endorsement for Microsoft to have their nifty new tech powering an explosive device, it's so incredibly bizarre that they'd agree to use it in this context rather than, you know, a random computer screen in literally any other scene.
