The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has had some rough sailing of later (pardon the awful pun). With the whole Johnny Depp situation hanging over them, it’s come as no surprise that details about the reported sixth movie in the series have been few and far between. However make no mistake, Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is definitely reaching the shores of release.
This has subsequently been backed up by several sources, some of whom even speculated on how Jack Sparrow may be replaced (if that is even possible). We don’t know much else at this point. An initial release date of 2021 was being suggested. Although the current situation will have almost certainly put that back.
Regardless, from Hollywood to World’s End, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the Black Pearl. And their prayers should be answered in due time.
