5. Tony Leung - The Mandarin (Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings)

We've already seen The Mandarin in one MCU movie, but as everyone who threw their toys out of the pram at the Trevor Slattery twist in Iron Man 3 will already be painfully aware, he wasn't the real deal. Even Aldrich Killian wasn't the real Mandarin and his Ten Rings weren't even the same terrorist organisation from the first Iron Man.

Quite whether that group had anything to do with the ten powerful artefacts worn by the original Mandarin in the comics remains to be seen, but we will get some answers on the real Mandarin when Shang-Chi joins Phase 4. This time it won't be a cop-out and nor will it be a straight adaptation of the racial stereotypes of the comic book version.

Brilliantly, the villain will also be played by Infernal Affairs star Tony Leung, giving the film even more martial arts credentials and real pedigree and it's hard not to get very excited.
