6. The Rock - Black Adam

It's not entirely clear what movie Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam will debut in, but so far he's been linked to The Suicide Squad, a new Superman movie and Justice League 2, along with Shazam 2 and his own solo movie. It almost doesn't even matter where it happens, though, because it's still going to be a big event.

The Rock has the power to pull big franchises up on his shoulders and he's a huge box office draw for very good reason. Take him out of the movies he's starred in recently and they significantly drop in quality. Even the terrible ones. That's star power.

He's got bags of charisma and he was always going to end up in a comic book movie, but it was Warner Bros and DC who got there first, hiring him for the anti-hero Black Adam and confidently announcing him without ever saying what he's in. That's frustrating, but you definitely get the sense that it will be worth the wait.
