An underrated masterwork from David Lynch, this is a stunning Neo-Noir mystery horror that might be the most fun period of confusion you'll ever experience.

Creepy, haunting, visually brilliant and consistently engrossing, this shows Lynch at the absolute peak of his craft and it has a collection of stellar performances to boot.

As you'd expect from Lynch it's confusing as hell. but it's also enormously entertaining in spite of this since it offers plenty of great thrills and compelling psychological drama. Better still, working out what it all means and coming up with your own interpretation is part of the fun.

Overall, this is a brilliant movie and one of David Lynch's best. It deserves to get a lot more attention than it currently does and is worthy of sitting alongside films like Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet.
