There's no announced sequel with as ridiculous a premise and so much potential to go spectacularly wrong as Triplets, a sequel to the classic 1988 Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito-starring comedy Twins.

The sequel will see Schwarzenegger and DeVito discovering that they have a long-lost brother, to be played by Eddie Murphy. It's an idea walking a razor-thin line between brilliant and head-smackingly stupid, but with enough self-awareness, it could be a worthy sequel to a movie that, let's be honest, wasn't that great in the first place.

The last update on the project had Schwarzenegger claim that Triplets will start shooting this year, but that doesn't really mean much, especially with Arnie due to shoot Terminator 6 later this year, DeVito likely filming another season of It's Always Sunny and Eddie Murphy...continuing to do nothing.
