The Theory: Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) drops in briefly to say hello to Deadpool, in an exchange that will almost certainly hint at them somehow teaming up in the future. Why It Could Be True: Because it's almost too amazing for Fox to not have at least considered it, and it's a clever way of skirting around the issue of putting the notoriously R-rated Deadpool character in a PG-13 movie and making him feel neutered. Why not just have characters from the X-Men universe appear as "guest stars" in Deadpool's films? Plus, Jackman has no problems with cameos: who could forget his outrageously entertaining, F-bomb-dropping appearance in X-Men: First Class? Why It Probably Won't Be: Though the budget for Deadpool hasn't been officially stated, we know it isn't big, and with Fox no doubt being quite conscious of the movie's cost considering its R rating, throwing Jackman into the mix would probably add unnecessary cost to the budget. Plus, when the idea was floated to Ryan Reynolds, he suggested that scheduling could be a problem, given how busy Jackman typically keeps himself.
