13 Essential Last Minute Questions For Avengers: Age Of Ultron

12. How Much Screen Time Do The Supporting Characters Get?

One of the biggest challenges facing Age Of Ultron is how Joss Whedon is going to find a way to pay service to so many supporting characters in barely two hours of screen time, all while introducing a ton of new ones as well. It's known that Baron Von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann), Ulysses Klaw (Andy Serkis), Rhodey (Don Cheadle), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Heimdall (Idris Elba), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Erik Selvig (Stellan SkarsgÄrd) all have supporting parts in the movie, but how big will they be? The Likely Answer: In fairness, not a single one of these characters has had a significant appearance in the movie's marketing so far. Strucker and Hill will probably get the biggest parts (as in, a few scenes each), while Klaw will likely disappear after the South Africa portion of the movie is done, and you can pretty much expect the rest to get a scene or maybe two each at most. Jackson has already confirmed that his part is basically a cameo, and it's best not to expect much more from most of these characters.
