13 Marvel Villains Still Alive In The MCU (Who Could Return)

3. Scorpion

The MCU version of Mac Gargan was cruelly robbed of his chance to become the full-blown Scorpion after Spider-Man interrupted the weapons trade on the Staten Island Ferry. He also ate a car and was left heavily disfigured thanks to the battle when Vulture accidentally sent him into the New York Harbour, where he was picked up and arrested.

Where Is He?

Incarcerated alongside Adrian Toomes for trying to illegally buy weapons. Presumably, he'll be getting out at some point, because you don't case someone like Michael Mando and only feature him as little as he was in Homecoming.

Threat Level

Gargan wants Spider-Man's blood, despite it being Vulture who disfigured him and he doesn't seem the kind of villain who'll forget easily, particularly since he's been forced to give up his freedom. If he can somehow still get his Scorpion tail (The Tinkerer is still out there and he was the one who invented it, to be fair), then he could be the big bad for the third Spider-Man movie.

It would be a shame if he's just given the usual MCU villain treatment and is killed off in the opening sequence, but that' s probably a big possibility too.
