13 Movies That Should've Ended 5 Minutes Earlier
8. The Devil's Advocate
How It Ended: Al Pacino's Satan wants Keanu Reeves to bone his half-sister in order to conceive the Antichrist, but Reeves shoots himself instead, stopping the ritual.
He then wakes up back at the start of the movie, decides he can't in good conscience defend a child molester and leaves the courthouse, only to agree to meet with a reporter who, of course, turns out to be Satan in disguise.
How It Should've Ended: Reeves' sacrifice would've had a lot more meaning behind it if he actually stayed dead, so concluding it there rather than giving him a second chance would've been a harsher but ultimately more rewarding finale.
