4. You Killed My Father!

Because of the Spider-Man like scientist father with a guilty conscience sub-plot that made April O'Neil a childhood friend of the Turtles, it was inevitable that there'd be some sort of Greek tragedy conclusion for April. She would be the one to take down Eric Sacks, because it was his evil that inspired her father to kill himself in the fire that destroyed all of the research (and was designed to kill the Turtles and Splinter). We know that he died in the fire, because Splinter - the all-seeing rat who remembered everything that went down in frighteningly good detail for a rat - said so. There was even a poetic mention of his last breath being a disavowal of everything Shredder and Sacks stood for: it was a noble death. But then, despite having been told this by Splinter, when April faces off with Sacks and he tries (appallingly badly) to shoot her
