Bond 25: 13 Things We Want To See

1. Conclude Craig's Arc With The OHMSS Storyline

The big question at the end of Spectre is, of course, where's it all going to go from here? Bond and Madeline ride off into the sunset, but Blofeld's still lingering around and Spectre's probably already planning their next step. Many have already noted a very On Her Majesty's Secret Service vibe to the ending, which in the original script even had the line "We have all the time in the world" included as the pair drive off, pretty much cementing it. Now, considering that Bond traditionally doesn't have love interests who stick around, it almost makes too much sense that the next film will follow the OHMSS arc of having Bond possibly get married to Madeleine, then she gets assassinated by Spectre agents, and Bond heads back out into the field for sweet revenge (his main motivation in Diamonds Are Forever). It may not be especially original, but it seems extremely likely given the corner the writers have painted themselves into with Spectre, and with the right team it could totally work. It probably wouldn't be the happiest ending for Craig's version of Bond, but it would give his arc some sense of closure before another actor takes over. What would you like to see in Bond's next outing? Shout it out in the comments!
