9. Guardians Of The Galaxy The Appearance Of Rocket Racoon
Remember when I said that involving Asgard was a big pill for the audience to swallow? Well, Thor's realm has nothing on Rocket Raccoon, a character whose represents a leap of faith like nothing before him. Yet still, I'm confident they'll like him remember, there was once a time when studio execs didn't think tales about fantastical people with superpowers would fly (pardon the pun), yet they were wrong then, and they're probably wrong now. Hell, it's not like they knew the sort of balls-out strangeness Rocket and the rest of the cast represent weren't going to come out eventually. If you host a superhero party, it's inevitable that the stranger cousins were going to show up at some point. Yet while we haven't seen Rocket Raccoon in action yet, the Guardians of the Galaxy Comic-Con footage was well received, with special praise being doled out for the fast-paced comedy penned by James Gunn and Co. If you watched Super, you'll Gunn knows what it takes to marry bonkers-ness with drama, and in my opinion, an anthropomorphised raccoon is only a couple of steps up the surreal ladder than a wrench-wielding Rain Wilson. Frankly, I've every confidence it's going to be great, and I can't wait to see it. The fact he's going to be voiced by Bradley Cooper just makes it all the sweeter.
