5. Silent Night Deadly Night III, IV And V
If you’re a fan of Christmas themed horror movies, you might be enticed to buy this collection of the Silent Night Deadly Night films based on the cover. Not all of the movies are owned by the same company, so this DVD only contains the third, fourth and fifth films. That’s okay, though, because you’ll still get your Santa Claus murdering goodness, right?
Sorry, but no.
Although the cover shows an axe-wielding Santa Claus, unlike the original two, the third, fourth and fifth films don’t feature a killer Santa at all. While the movies are still set at Christmas, the third movie has the murderer lose his Santa outfit entirely, and by the fourth, Santa is no longer even a relevant part of the story.
You’d expect that the bare minimum you’d get out of these movies would be a killer dressed in a Santa outfit murdering people, but instead you'll be treated to some dude with a metal dome over his head.
