Marvel's Eternals

In terms of an impressive cast, Marvel Studios' Eternals has quite the ensemble. With Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiana, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan and Kit Harrington amongst its numbers, there's clearly some serious star power on display in this November 2021 release. Likewise, director Chloe Zhao has mesmerised with Songs My Brothers Taught Me, The Rider, and Nomadland.

Much like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, though, there are likely some of you asking what's an Eternal?

Created by the legendary Jack Kirby back in 1976, the Eternals are an immortal alien race created by the Celestials for the sole purpose of protecting Earth. These all-powerful alien beings have been secretly living on Earth for over 7000 years, all with the intent to protect the planet and its inhabitants from the sinister intentions of the humanoid race known as the Deviants.

Having had its production hit hard by the same delays that have battered so much of the entertainment industry this year, the film managed to wrap up its final set of reshoots just last month, and now it's just a case of getting Eternals tidied up and ready for that November 2021 release.
