14 New Marvel Movies Coming In 2021 & Beyond

11. Spider-Man 3

Fantastic Four
Marvel Studios

For some of us, the most anticipated movie on the horizon right now is the follow-up to Spider-Man: Far From Home. While the film is currently untitled, from here on out we'll simply refer to it as Spider-Man 3 - and boy, does Spider-Man 3 look like it's shaping up to be the stuff of dreams!

Just seeing how Tom Holland's Wall-crawler deals with the fallout of his secret identity now being public knowledge is enough to get fans rushing to see Spider-Man 3, yet that plot point now feels secondary following the recent news that Holland's Spidey won't be alone in this outing.

While it's yet to be officially announced by Sony Pictures or Marvel Studios, all indicators currently point to Holland's Spider-Man being joined by the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield incarnations of this most iconic of characters.

Not just that, but Alfred Molina will be picking up his Spider-Man 2 role of Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx will be reprising his The Amazing Spider-Man 2 role of Electro, and Paul Giamatti will likely be returning to his ASM2 role of Rhino. Then there's rumblings that Kirsten Dunst's Mary Jane Watson and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy will also have a part to play in the picture.

All of this sounds utterly insane, in the best way possible. How is this even possible, you might ask? That's down to Doctor Strange and the concept of the Multiverse.

With Jon Watts again in the director's chair, Spider-Man 3 is presently set for December 2021.

Once described as the Swiss Army Knife of WhatCulture, Andrew can usually be found writing, editing, or presenting on a wide range of topics. As a lifelong wrestling fan, horror obsessive, and comic book nerd, he's been covering those topics professionally as far back as 2010. In addition to his current WhatCulture role of Senior Content Producer, Andrew previously spent nearly a decade as Online Editor and Lead Writer for the world's longest-running genre publication, Starburst Magazine, and his work has also been featured on BBC, TechRadar, Tom's Guide, WhatToWatch, Sportkskeeda, and various other outlets, in addition to being a Rotten Tomatoes-approved film critic. Between his main dayjob, his role as the lead panel host of Wales Comic Con, and his gig as a pre-match host for Wrexham AFC games, Andrew has also carried out a hugely varied amount of interviews, from the likes of Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, Adrienne Barbeau, Rob Zombie, Katharine Isabelle, Leigh Whannell, Bruce Campbell, and Tony Todd, to Kevin Smith, Ron Perlman, Elijah Wood, Giancarlo Esposito, Simon Pegg, Charlie Cox, the Russo Brothers, and Brian Blessed, to Kevin Conroy, Paul Dini, Tara Strong, Will Friedle, Burt Ward, Andrea Romano, Frank Miller, and Rob Liefeld, to Bret Hart, Sting, Mick Foley, Ricky Starks, Jamie Hayer, Britt Baker, Eric Bischoff, and William Regal, to Mickey Thomas, Joey Jones, Phil Parkinson, Brian Flynn, Denis Smith, Gary Bennett, Karl Connolly, and Bryan Robson - and that's just the tip of an ever-expanding iceberg.
