14 Shocking Facts From The Sony Leak

6. A Jump Street & Men In Black Crossover Is In The Works

Another jaw-dropper came with the news that Sony are considering a cross-over movie between the Jump Street and Men in Black franchises, though the e-mails suggest that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones would either not be involved or have minimal roles. Unsurprisingly, Jump Street directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are lined up to produce and potentially direct, while Jonah Hill wrote an e-mail stating that, "jump street merging with mib i think that€™s clean and rad and powerful". A slightly worrying e-mail did emerge from Hannah Minghella, a president of production for Sony€™s Columbia Pictures, who stated €œWe don€™t have a script yet so we€™ll be greenlighting the movie off the concept and the talent involved.€ Um, maybe wait for a script to arrive before pushing the movie on the basis of the outlandish premise and cast. Still, it's a hilarious (if rather desperate) idea, and there's certainly plenty of potential in it, especially if the MiB aspect of the movie features two new up-and-coming comic talents much like Tatum and Hill.
