14 Simple Fixes That Could Have Made Suicide Squad Awesome
5. Keep Enchantress' Powers
The Problems
1. June Moone couldn't possibly have survived her chest being sliced open and then being blown up.
2. Bruce Wayne gets a portfolio on her as a meta-human, despite the fact that Enchantress is vanquished and she's gone back to being the world's worst archeologist.
The Solution
In the comics, Moone actually manages to exorcise the evil element of Enchantress but retain her powers in order to become a superhero. That's almost exactly what Suicide Squad should have done: having her survival at the end be revealed as the result of Enchantress' powers leaving an imprint on her, but the alternate personality being removed.
That way we could have a reason to accept that she didn't die, as well as making June Moone an interesting character for any sequel (not that she actually deserves it). She could have been locked up in Belle Reve as a security risk and thus retained as an active member of the Squad.
It would also explain why Batman would be remotely interested in her, and could set up her joining up with Justice League Dark.
