14 Things That Would Have Happened After 2017 Movies Ended

11. David Builds His Xenomorph Army - Alien: Covenant

The latest Alien movie ended in horrifying fashion as android David (Michael Fassbender) returned the Covenant's surviving crew members Daniels (Katherine Waterston) and Tennessee (Danny McBride) to stasis, before regurgitating two facehugger embryos and continuing the ship's journey to Origae-6, the original planet selected for colonisation.

The initial plan was for the Covenant's two thousand colonists in stasis and thousand-plus human embryos to build a settlement there, not unlike Aliens' Hadley's Hope, but clearly, before they even reach the planet, David is going to be busy preparing to impregnate as many of the colonists as possible with chestbursters.

Though a direct Covenant sequel sadly doesn't seem likely to happen, this was clearly the next logical step of David's plan to play demented creator, whether it ultimately would've been foiled or not.
