4. I Still Believe

I Still Believe
Lionsgate

Starring Riverdale’s leading plank KJ Apa and coming from the directors of 2014’s tragic attempted comedy Mom’s Night Out, this squeaky clean music biopic plays out like Walk the Line if Johnny Cash were neutered and anesthetized at the beginning of his career, ridding him of any pesky character flaws or human foibles and of course eradicating the humble, deeply human empathy he felt for the denizens of Folsom.

There’s no playing to prisoners in this bible bashing snooze fest, which is unchallenging as it is uninteresting.

Cathal Gunning hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
