Like A Boss
Paramount Pictures

Critics savaged this comedy upon release despite the film boasting the collective talents of Get Him To The Greek’s Rose Byrne, an underrated comedic actor, the widely beloved Tiffany Haddish, and screen veteran Salma Hayek. Brief, boring, and clumsily contrived, this flick from Duck Butter director Miguel Arteta has been used as evidence, along with the doomed gender-flipped 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, that girl power comedies are destined to die a death with critics.

To which we would reply, be fair—this film is about as bad as 2013’s laughably awful The Internship, an extended advertisement from Google which no beloved comedians could salvage either. See? No gender can make rooting for corporate interests funny or charming, so let this be the last "CEOs are the heroes" comedy for a long time.
