15 Best Movie Trailers Of 2017

2. Thor: Ragnarok

Thor: Ragnarok's marketing campaign had to work hard to prove to audiences that it wasn't just another forgettable Thor movie, and that it certainly did, in large part thanks to inspired use of Led Zepellin's "The Immigrant Song."

Amusingly, Marvel Studios hadn't yet been able to clear the rights to use the song in the final film when it appeared in this teaser trailer, but presumably the rapturous response to its use helped Led Zep decide that it was a great business decision.

Visually, the teaser did an incredible job of selling just how visually diverse the film would be compared to its predecessors, while also showing off Thor's new hair-do and, yes, the presence of The Hulk. And of course, who could forget the line that single-handedly sold just about everyone on the movie? "We know each other. He's a friend from work!"

With $850 million in box office receipts, Marvel Studios knocked this one out of the park.
