15 Break-Out Film Actors Who Ruled 2012

8. Lee Pace

Lee Pace Star of the delightful, cancelled-before-its-time TV show Pushing Daisies and the stunningly beautiful film The Fall (2006), Lee Pace has been around for quite a while and has built up quite a cult following. But he has been waiting for some time for that truly big breakout year or role. Well, it looks like his time has finally come in 2012. Pace starred in three of the biggest films of the year, including two already established super-franchises in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Twilight: Breaking Dawn €“ Part 2. The other big movie he was in? Oh just, that little film Steven Spielberg did about the 16th President of the United States €“ Lincoln. Apparently he was also in a terribly reviewed film called 30 Beats also this year, but given the others, we can certainly give him a pass on that one. What€™s Next: Two more The Hobbit films to say the least.
