5. Bruce Wayne Sleeps Upside Down - Batman

There's a lot of weirdness in the Tim Burton Batman movies, but arguably nothing is quite as strange and uniquely off-putting as the revelation that Bruce Wayne sleeps upside down, you know, like a bat.

Like a lot of Burton's creative choices, this scene walks a razor's edge between being goofy and terrifying, but the fact that Bruce not only sleeps like a bat but does so on what appears to be a piece of gym equipment while still wearing his work trousers pretty much confirms that he's a total sociopath.

Of all the things Burton could've included to give the Bruce Wayne character a little more edge, he decided to tackle the guy's sleeping habits and literally give him some bat characteristics. At least Burton didn't take things one step creepier by having him routinely drink animal blood or something...
