8. An American Werewolf In London

While lots of horror purists will tell you that the idea of anyone remaking John Landis' classic 1981 horror An American Werewolf In London would be sacrilege, it's happening.

A remake was announced as far back as 2009, but it took until 2016's announcement that Max Landis would be remaking the film for it to start to gather speed again. In December 2017, the second generation director confirmed he had completed the first draft of the script.

Since then it's largely gone quiet, but all suggestions are that it is still coming in the next few years. Lets hope Landis does his father's legacy justice
