15 Horror Movies Since 2000 So Awful They'e Genuinely Horrifying

11. Seed Of Chucky

The Devil Inside
FX

The Plot:

Chucky and Tiffany are brought back to life by their androgynous child and inflict their wrath upon Hollywood, where a movie about their murder spree is underway. In the meantime, they're trying to juggle parenting their kid and transferring their souls into human bodies.

Why It Sucks:

Chucky, brilliantly voiced by Brad Dourif, is one of the best Slasher villains of them all but his films haven't always given him the great material he deserves.

After the second and third films belly-flopped, Bride of Chucky gave the franchise new life with its genuinely clever dark comedy. Seed of Chucky, on the other hand, is pure garbage.

This dull and unfunny mess is essentially a meaningless collection of flat dark jokes and tedious death scenes with no coherence, originality or tension. The vocal performances are as great as ever, but this ultimately doesn't even feel like a Chucky movie and feels more like some terrible fan-fiction that somehow made it into cinemas.

This is, to date, the worst Chucky movie and in terms of being insufferable it puts Child's Play 3 to shame.
