15 Interesting Facts About The Daniel Craig Bond Films

7. Casino Royale Is Littered With Small Cameos

Though not populated with former Bonds or famous directors, Casino Royale is packed with some less familiar, albeit still significant cameos in a series of blink-and-you€™ll-miss-it moments.

The most flashy of said cameos is that of Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, who appears at the Miami International Airport, being stopped by security as Bond pursues a bomber. Considering how prominently his airline features in the scene that follows, this cameo isn€™t exactly out of nowhere.

Harder to spot are the inclusions of two former Bond actresses in background roles. Diane Hartford and Tsai Chin both appear as card players at different points in the film, with each having appeared as minor Bond girls in Thunderball and You Only Live Twice, respectively.

Finally, appearing as the chief of police in Montenegro was producer Michael G. Wilson, who attempts to sneak into every Bond film he can.

None of these inclusions were flashy or significant, but it€™s nice to see the film honouring the long legacy of the series in as many ways as possible.
