15 Most Bad-Ass Teams In Movie History
11. The Fellowship Of The Ring
Did you hear the one about the ranger, wizard, dwarf, elf, prince of Gondor and the four Hobbits that did not simply walk into Mordor? Of course you did, because Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the most critically and commercial successful film series' in history, earning over $2.9bn at the box office and winning seventeen Academy Awards.
While the Fellowship of the Ring seem like an unlikely group of companions and quite often find themselves separated due to the circumstances of their quest, there is no denying that they are at their strongest when together. Whether it be in the Mines of Moria, behind the walls of Helm's Deep or on the ground at Pelennor Fields, the Fellowship often found themselves side-by-side on the battlefield, with each member playing a pivotal role in ensuring Frodo managed to destroy the ring. Well, except Boromir because he died, but he was played by Sean Bean so that was to be expected.
The Fellowship forged the strongest of bonds during their quest as they traveled across Middle-Earth, surviving war, capture and even death in Gandalf's case. And of course, as the numerous spectacular battle scenes demonstrated, they were more than capable of handling themselves in a fight.
