15 Most Disappointing Movies Of 2016

1. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

No movie left more people shaken and appalled, though, than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Hardcore fans deem it either the worst movie ever made or a masterpiece, while more casual viewers seem pretty settled on "uh, it's OK", a result of enormous expectations and some impressive marketing hyping up just about everyone.

The final film is visually stunning and Ben Affleck is a magnificent Batman, but it's clearly been edited into incomprehensibility by Warner Bros. execs, making the spine of the story feel vague and the motivations behind the long-awaited battle difficult to accept.

Oh, and the titular fight lasts a whole 7 minutes, before the two inevitably team up to take on a generic CGI monster for the finale.

It's not horrible, it's just really, really underwhelming given the insane potential. Fans love to blame Zack Snyder, but honestly, his direction was fine. It's the script and editing that needed work.
