9. Jane Got A Gun
A Natalie Portman-led western directed by Gavin O'Connor (Warrior) and with a supporting cast including Joel Edgerton and Ewan McGregor? Sounds great.
Though the film didn't get off on the best foot due to original director Lynne Ramsay bailing on the eve of production, that does little to excuse Jane Got a Gun being such a tiresome bore.
The visuals are nice and the performances are decent enough, but it feels like an absolute slog at even a slim 98 minutes, and it's just hard to care much about what's going on.
In short, it's difficult to see what attracted this cast to such a piecemeal project with so little of note about it.
