14. A Quiet Place Part II

The film that kicked off a raft of copycat sensory horror movies was a huge winner for John Krasinski in 2018 and while he MIGHT have been tempted to let the world get on with making low quality rip-offs about a world in which you can't be smelly or something, he's returning to the rockface for a direct sequel.

He doesn't return for reasons that will be obvious to anyone who saw the first film, but Emily Blunt and the pair's on-screen kids do and they're excitingly being joined by Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou. So far, all we know is that the Abbott family - and their new friends - will once again be trying to survive in a world where sound is punished by swift, bloody death.

The concept is already great enough for more to be very welcome and the additions look strong, particularly as it seems we won't be seeing a huge expansion that would betray the original.
