6. Trench Warfare – Wonder Woman
Despite feeling shoehorned into the narrative, Wonder Woman proved to be a fun addition to Batman V Superman. Gal Gadot captured the look and strength of the character, and her origin story should help open up the DCU even further.
The trailer makes it clear she gets into many different scraps throughout, and the film’s WW1 period setting should help give it a unique feel amongst the many superhero movies out there. It also gave us a glimpse at the instantly iconic moment where she claims out of a trench onto No Man’s Land, and uses her shield to advance on German forces.
It doesn’t get much more badass than that, so hopefully the final scene will live up to this image.
