15 PERFECT Scenes In Otherwise Disappointing Movies

6. Quantum Of Solace: The FInale

Quantum of Solace isn't as bad as some say it is, but it is an undeniable let-down following the awesomeness of Casino Royale two years earlier. Overly dour, rushed, plotless and filled with awful shaky-cam cinematography, this is one of the lower-tier James Bond movies. Still, much like a few other films on this list, it rewards our patience with a great finale.

While most of the film's action scenes are undermined by the terrible camerawork, this final battle in a desert hotel is pretty spectacular. It's visually stunning, suspenseful and brutally intense, while the scene where Bond Girl Camille gets revenge on the man who killed her family is actually rather stirring.

Speaking of that, there's a poignant, soulful tone to this entire sequence as Bond finally reaches the end of his journey of vengeance following the trauma he suffered in Casino Royale. Bond's delightfully savage murder of main antagonist Dominic Greene is also highly satisfying, especially since Greene is one of the worst Bond villains ever, and Bond and Camille's final conversation about vengeance is also one of the most moving moments in any James Bond movie.

It's just a shame these final scenes didn't have a better build-up.
