The Twist: Selene sacrifices herself to save her hybrid pal David, taking down the final enemy before expiring from her injuries.
Why It Could Ruin The Movie: Because it would set a horrible precedent moving forward, that the series is now being helmed by Theo James' David, when the popular appeal of these admittedly pretty terrible movies is getting to see Kate Beckinsale run around kicking a** in the tightest PVC you've ever seen in your life.
How Likely Is It?: Well, Beckinsale is reportedly appearing in a sixth film, so it doesn't seem terribly likely. Then again, consider that this movie was originally called "Underworld: Next Generation", and Beckinsale will likely be in her mid-to-late 40s by the time the next movie comes out.
Plus, it's possible that her "involvement" with another movie could be a huge troll, though it's hard to believe that the guys behind these movies are anywhere near that cunning or smart. The last Underworld proved Selene is still a cash cow, so she's probably sticking around. 2/10
