The Moment: As hero Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) squares off against the villainous Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in a street fight, mercenary Mose Jakande (Djimon Hounsou) fires a missile into the roof they're fighting on from his helicopter. The explosion compromises the structure, causing cracks to form around where Shaw is standing, as Toretto quips, "The thing about street fights...the street always wins", before he stomps his foot on the ground with enough force to make the concrete Shaw's standing on break apart, sending Shaw crashing through the floor and ending up trapped by the rubble. Why It's Stupid: Vin Diesel may be a tough guy, but tough enough to help de-stablise concrete? Still, it's a Fast and Furious movie so it's contractually obligated to be brilliantly stupid, and this moment delivers in spades in that regard. From the bad CGI to the ridiculous physics and the fact that Shaw somehow survives falling into the concrete abyss, it reflects every idiotic instinct that audiences love to see in these films.
