15 Terrible Looking 2016 Movies That Will Shockingly Make A Profit

The Premise: Symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) wakes up in Italy with no memory of the last few days. As he's hunted down, Langdon employs the help of Dr. Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones) to recover his lost memories, evade capture and, of course, solve a riddle or two.

Why It Looks Awful: Because it's another Dan Brown adaptation, and both The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons weren't exactly good films to begin with. With director Ron Howard and writer David Koepp returning from last time, why should we expect much different here?

Why It'll Make A Profit: The Da Vinci Code made an insane $758 million, while Angels and Demons pulled in a decent $485 million. Though there's an outside possibility that the audience for these movies has indeed dried up over the last seven years, if the marketing draws sufficiently on nostalgia for the originals, then it'll easily make its meaty budget back effortlessly.

Plus, people love Tom Hanks: what else do you need to know?
